Midnight Mass was celebrated at St. Valentine Church, Peru, IL on Dec. 25, 2011 in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite. This was High Mass with Incense.

Growing in Faith Together (GIFT) Study
St. Valentine and St. Mary Parishes are (Cluster)ed with St. Joseph Parish (and St. Bede Abbey) in the Peru area planning process. Recently the Peoria Diocesan Planning Commission has declined to accept the Cluster's Suggestion to maintain three parishes in Peru. Instead, the Commission is recommending that St. Valentine and St. Mary Parishes be merged into a new parish located at the current site of St. Valentine Church. The process allows opportunity for input and rebuttal to the Recommendation. Read more...
